Games, crafts and illustrated cinema

Children and young people have a lot to experience at the Wuppertal City Library as part of the summer vacation program. You can have fun playing the game console, build and program robots with Lego, learn about smart apps and try them out together, or record podcasts.


The little ones are invited to listen to the reading and follow different stories as illustrated cinema. You can try new board games together. There is also the opportunity to get creative with crafts.

Parents or grandparents can also participate, play games, do arts and crafts. Several appointments for the babies of the book, the reading meeting for the little ones from 0 to 3 years are also part of the holidays.

The offers at the central library in Elberfeld and at all district libraries are compiled in a program brochure that is available for on the website of the city library.

Registration is required for some dates. It can be done at local libraries, by email or by phone. details for this are included with the dates that require registration.
